UEFA Champions League: Real Madrid beat Atalanta 4-1 on agg

Real Madrid have progressed to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, after a 3-1 win against Atalanta in the secod leg, and 4-1 on aggregate.

The hosts, who had a 1-nil advantage from the first leg, opened the scoring at the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium in the 34th minute, through French veteran Karim Benzema.

Los Blancos struck again, as captain Sergio Ramos slotted home from the spot on the hour-mark.

The Italian outfit, pulled one back when Luis Muriel scored with a brilliant free kick in the 83rd minute. 

However, just a minute later, Marco Asensio put the icing on the cake with a clinical finish, as the Spanish Giants reached the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time in three seasons.
